Garden room — power, lighting and outdoor living
A garden room and decked seating area brought to life after dark — interior power, warm exterior lighting and outdoor sockets, fed safely from the house.
The job.
A garden room treated as a small building, not an extension lead: its own properly rated supply from the house consumer unit, run underground in ducting with the lawn reinstated behind us, plus interior and exterior lighting to make the space work after dark.
The room now earns its keep in the evenings — warm light inside, exterior fittings washing the deck and planting outside. The supply was sized with headroom for whatever the room becomes next, and the dusk photos below do the talking.
